Responsibilities:
Product Management
· Assist in screening and evaluating new business and product ideas.
· Support lifecycle management of credit and investment banking products, including documentation and coordination with stakeholders.
· Contribute to business case development and technology scoping.
Product Strategy & Development
· Collaborate with internal partners to support execution of strategic roadmaps for loan products.
· Research and recommend technology solutions to improve loan process efficiency.
Process Optimization & Project Management
· Support cross-functional initiatives to implement credit product enhancements and operational improvements.
· Apply Six Sigma principles to assist in process analysis and improvement.
· Track project milestones, provide updates, and escalate issues as needed.
Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA), Control Testing, and Issue Management
· Support annual refresh of RCSAs and control testing activities.
· Maintain procedural documentation and assist in issue resolution planning.
Continuous Improvement
· Track and report loan activity cycle times.
· Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives.
· Collaborate with partners to implement automation and AI-driven enhancements.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
· Coordinate with frontline teams, Risk, Compliance, and Audit to ensure alignment.
· Foster collaboration across business units to support client-focused initiatives.
Regulatory and Industry Expertise
· Monitor regulatory changes and assist in ensuring compliance.
· Apply knowledge of C&I lending to support product development.
Work experience:
· 10+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit underwriting, or consulting related roles within a corporate or commercial banking environment.
· Experience in Commercial Banking and associated Lending and Deposit products.
· Experience with Treasury Services, Capital Markets, and Derivatives is preferred.
· Expertise in credit risk management and underwriting processes for C&I companies.
· Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
· Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) highly preferred.
· Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering results on time and within budget.
· Experience with treasury, capital markets, foreign exchange, and derivatives products is a plus.
· Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
