The Department of Biology at Central Michigan University seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2025.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can support our new undergraduate program in Biotechnology by teaching lower- and upper-level courses and participate in one or more of our interdisciplinary graduate programs: Biochemistry, Cell & Molecular Biology (BCMB) or Earth and Ecosystem Sciences (EES), and/or the Biology masters program. We invite applications from candidates whose research and teaching strengths and experiences will also contribute to our undergraduate programs in Biomedical, Cellular, and Molecular Biology (BCM), and in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology (EEC). All areas of research expertise that can complement our existing faculty and programs will be considered.
