What we're looking for:

Tarro is growing fast. We're adding rapidly to our product portfolio. In our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team to help build reliable, performant, and well-integrated systems and products for our customers.

What you will accomplish:

• You will be working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you will always be learning
• You'll spearhead the development of high-quality products from the ground-up with high velocity.
• You'll have a huge impact and work on large scope spanning multiple products
• You'll be an owner, write a lot of code and iterate very quickly
• You will partner with Product Managers and other stakeholders to advance the product vision, iterate on customer feedback and drive the expansion of Tarro into new opportunities

About you:

• You have 2+ years relevant experience building large-scale applications or similar experience
• You currently have, or are in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• You are a self-starter and thrive in an environment where you have technical freedom
• You are excited about the opportunity to work up and down the stack and learn Rust
• You are passionate about solving customer's problems and building something from the ground-up
• You prefer an environment with limited meetings, processes, planning, politics, and formal reviews

Bonus points:

• You have achieved a BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• You have experience in a consumer-driven industry with a passion for the customer.
• You have experience building products from 0 to 1 in an unstructured environment
• You have a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with current or prior experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment frequently wearing more than one hat.

The base salary range for this role is $180,000- $250,000 USD + equity.
